Tools and Portfolio Classes
Our Adobe and other digital production classes have new titles. To better reflect what is taught in the classroom, we changed from Level I or Level II classes to Tools or Portfolio classes.
Digital Tools classes are introductory courses for building strong technical skills and an understanding of creative production with the software. Class projects explore the the program’s functionality and the building blocks of artistic and design concepts.
Digital Portfolio classes are intermediate level courses that expect participants to have solid competencies in the software, usually obtained through taking the Tools class. Students work on creative, professional media projects and complete a couple of personal or collaborative class assignments for portfolio building. Check the online syllabus for individual class information.
